Should we have our wisdom teeth removed?

Our wisdom teeth are at the back of our mouths. Due to this position, it is hard to clean them and it is hard for the brush to reach that area. These teeth decay easier due to insufficient cleaning and this might lead to pain and bad breath. The food accumulation might lead to gum inflammation, swelling and pain around that area.

In some cases, the wisdom teeth might be impacted tooth since there is not enough space in our mouth. In these cases, the wisdom teeth can push the teeth in front of them and cause crooked teeth.

No, there is no need to remove the wisdom teeth in the right position.

No, correct surgery will not cause too much pain. The pain can be easily managed with pain killers.

The swelling will depend on the tooth and individual. Slight swelling is normal and a stage of the recovery process.
